The concept of body acceptance is a world on its own, with slopes and tangents that define it, as well as make it complex and difficult to understand. Things like culture, belief, and education play a big role in (at lest) creating a general more integrative view about what body acceptance is and what is not, as well as how to seek it.
In this episode I read (and comment on) an academic article about the topic of body acceptance. This is the first podcast of a series - in audio, and writing (in both Spanish and English), dedicated to explore this concept; its ramifications, definitions, stories, psychology, and philosophy.
