Chili tikka masala.

Say what? Chili tikka masala? Yes. "But why?", you might ask. Because you can.
It all started with the question, "What to cook today?" And then one thing led to another. A jar of Tikka Masala Sauce, a can of beans, and some spices, and well... Imagination. You can get creative too and give this recipe your own twist.
Ingredients: - 1 jar (14 oz) of tikka masala sauce - 3 cups of ground beef - 2 tbsps of vegetable oil - 1 tbsp of soy sauce - 2 tsps of fish sauce - 1 can of red beans - 1 tbsp of ground shrimp - 1 tbsp of brown sugar - 1/2 tsp of ginger powder - 1 tsp of garlic powder - 1 pinch of ground black pepper - 1 tsp of curry powder - 3 tbsp of pumpkin butter. Click here for recipe.
Process: 1. Heat the oil in a deep pot and then. melt the pumpkin butter. 2. Add in the meat and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. 3. Put in the beans with all its juices, stir again. 4. Now put the rest of the ingredients. Stir again. 5. Cook for at least half an hour stirring occasionally to avoid it sticking to the bottom.
Now, how to serve it? I got mine over white rice that I made with coconut oil and ginger, and a fried egg on top, but I think the sky is the limit here. How about over french fries and deliciously golden melted cheese? Or how about over a hot dog? Or maybe by itself and soak some nice bread with it? You can make this as "street food" as you want, or as "fine dining" as you would love to.
Enjoy, #itsfoodoclock.
