A quick note:
Th seis is the first post in this section (What’s the word?), where I will be sharing intellectual, interesting, funny, delicious, curious, dark, or spicy content that I enjoy in Spanish or in English (You read, watch or listen to what you understand).
Today I share a very interesting writing from Dr.
about children’s’ right to quit (and free play). I have read from Dr. Gray’s work and have also listened to some of his interviews in various podcasts, and I find his ideas to be fascinating and down to earth. I resonate with his notions on the concept of free play and democratic education. I have promoted some of these ideas in my fitness and wellness advise, in the content I create fro work, when I was a school phys ed teacher, and I also explore them in my book (WIP).There is a lot to learn about the freedom to chose what you what to play or not (this applies to exercising and training), and about learning in a democratic way. Nevertheless, these topics are worth learning more about from as many angles as possible.
